"Go out and haul his rear back in."
"Well, what if he's hurt?"
"We'll cross that bridge when we come to it, Miss."
"I could come with--"
"No," Jim says, putting a definite stop to that. "You stay here, keep an eye out. I'll git him back, an' then we can see if there's somethin' you can do."
