The hotel room is pretty empty, and small, but Doc doesn't care. All his stuff is in Milliways anyways. They walk out of the door and into the hotel room itself. Once he closes the door to the bar, he opens it again and the hallway is visible.
There's piano music filtering up from the lobby saloon, conversation. It's a pretty busy hotel, given the sounds.
"C'mon. I know some crap saloons on the far side of town, get a few drinks, see if there ain't anyone we can steal from or somethin'. Before the fightin'."

Doc ends up with a cloth sack with a few boxes of cartridges (both calibers), cigarettes, more beef jerky for himself and another good amount for Will and his men, as well as a holster that will fit. It's used, worn leather but Doc's pretty sure Will won't give a damn.
He spots him looking at the candy.
"Y'can git a bag of it if you want," he adds.

He wanders over and points out the different flavors of the hard candy, some like berry and others like rootbeer, some plain sugar and others like citrus.
There are a lot, and Doc ends up with a bag of variety himself in addition to Will's.

Then he follows Doc in and since he got some coin of this era from Bar, buys their first round.

Doc lifts the whiskey and then toasts him with it, before he drinks.

He's not completely drunk, but he would like to find his way back to his hotel in one piece.

When they do get up, Doc makes certain they have all their things before he puts his hat back on his head.
