The hotel room is pretty empty, and small, but Doc doesn't care. All his stuff is in Milliways anyways. They walk out of the door and into the hotel room itself. Once he closes the door to the bar, he opens it again and the hallway is visible.
There's piano music filtering up from the lobby saloon, conversation. It's a pretty busy hotel, given the sounds.
"C'mon. I know some crap saloons on the far side of town, get a few drinks, see if there ain't anyone we can steal from or somethin'. Before the fightin'."

"Let me think on it a minute. Gotta watch folk, and hell, ain't like I'm in a hurry."

One of the women wonders over to them and gives a slow smile,
"You boys looking for company tonight?"

A pause.
"Buy you a drink, darlin'?"

"Just got 'ere, ma'am, been travelin' from England. Goin' to be a cowboy."

His hand rest gently on the woman's hip and he nods to the bartender for another drink.

The woman gives them both an evaluating sort of look over, and accepts her drink when it's given, murmuring her thanks and flitting her eyelashes at Will with a smile. "Mmm, that's hard work."
Doc smiles. "Ain't 'fraid of hard work, now, what kind of cowboys would be be if we were?"

Will reaches out to tuck some hair behind her ear,
"So tell me, what's best way to enjoy yerself in Liberty?"

She sips at her drink.
Doc just smiles at the two of them, knowing he won't let her go too far, and his eyes are focused on the room (and the men focused on them). A few are paying close attention.

Oh Will won't let her and he's quite aware of the eyes and thinks about Kate kissing him in Sherwood so he can blush properly. One of the men who's been gambling, drinking and losing calls out,
"Leave that greenhorn alone, Polly an come back o'er here."

"The lady can choose who she wants to be entertained by," he says. "Apparently y'weren't doin' a good enough job of it." He's teasing, of course. But it won't come across as such.
Polly smiles at her other 'gentleman' and winks. "There's plenty to go around, handsome, but this one," she purrs. "Is beatin' you, right now."
Who said whores just laid back and let the men do all the talkin'?

"Guess must be me red 'air. Said all the ladies would love it, Jo. Forgive me, sir, but I'm na goin' to argue with the lady."
The gambler grumbles and stands up, wobbling slightly,
"Then you can deal with me, Mick."

Cocky? Oh yes. Doc's playing it up for show.
He's also well aware of each patron in that saloon. Who's watching them, who's not, who's law (nobody) and who's heeled (everybody) and who gives a damn (about sixty percent) about this situation at all.

Will stands up and grins at the man, even putting up his dukes the way he saw Tom do it. So far its the most obvious way to start a fight he's seen.
The gambler comes over and looks him up and down, clearly considering his move as Will grins and punches him in the face.

The bartender warns them, but Doc shakes his head. "He's alright, promise..."
Of course, shortly thereafter, the gambler's friends stand up, and Doc glances at the woman, then leans over and kisses her lightly on the cheek. "You might want to go join the fellow playing piano?"
It's an order, not a suggestion as Doc downs the rest of his whiskey, turning around at a hand on his shoulder to hit the owner of that hand in the gut.
And then all hell breaks loose, just as they'd planned!

The gun's in his belt and the friends have gotten in a hit or two, creating a few cuts on his face and some bruises he'll feel later but not now.

As people start to argue with each other (the bartender is hollering at all of them to calm the fuck down and knock it off) Doc jumps up and grabs Will by the shirt.
"C'mon, don't wanna be here when the doorman starts shootin'."

"This way."
Then he's gone, going so quick that the two men who were both trying to punch him, hit each other.
Sometimes being a good thief can be very useful since in a moment, they're outside and in the shadows between two buildings.

Doc's lucky, he didn't get hit in the face, there are a few spots on his ribs that might bug him a bit and he'll have a bruise on his back from the damn chair, but other than that he's just fine.
And laughing, quietly, because that was fun.

Will just gives him a grin and pulls the gun from his belt and shows it to Doc,
"Did I steal a good one?"

Off Will's look, he explains. "Bullets. They're just a hair smaller than the ones mine uses. We can go get you some, m'sure there's a general store open 'round here somewhere. You need a holster, too."
From fighting to shopping, apparently.

He wants to understand this since Doc's good at finding trouble and Will plans on being able to fight beside him here same as Doc's done for him.

Doc hands it back over after checking the chamber and the rounds.
"And it's loaded, so don't go droppin' it, less you want to lose a foot or somethin'," he quips.

Will puts it carefully in his belt and looks over to Doc wondering what's next as there's a shot from the Bar. Then someone gets flung out of the front door,
"Probably should be leavin'."
